NEW DC BLOWER FROM SOLID STATE SUPPLIES MEASURES JUST 50MM SQUARE YET MOVES PLENTY OF AIR.
Designed to keep the air moving in a confined space, the new ODB5009 blower from Solid State Supplies is only 50mm square and 9mm deep yet moves three cubic feet of air per minute. Designed to provide directional airflow the device is ideally suited to spot cooling applications.
Using a brushless dc motor with locked rotor protection and a speed of 5000 rpm, the blower is polarity protected and features auto-restart. The lightweight unit has a life expectancy of 60,000 hours and an operating temperature of -10 to +70 deg. C.
Offering two supply options of 5 and 12 volts DC, the module has a dielectric strength of 500VAC with a maximum leakage of 10M Ohms.
Blowers with a sleeve bearing are also available.
