The Solid State plc group is made up of leading value-added Distributors and Agents providing specialist design-in, sales and marketing and manufacturing services for those working with Batteries, Electronic Components and Industrial/Rugged Computers. Through a combination of acquisition and organic growth the individual companies have each become a major influence in these areas. This growth has been through demand creation by offering high standards of technical support which differentiate them from most other distributors.
Solid State plc has three principal trading companies in the UK. In addition we market our products through a number of industry leading brands which include Wordsworth and RZ Pressure.
The customer base is made up predominantly of Industrial, Oil & Gas, Medical, Energy Saving, Government and Space designers who are looking for added-value solutions at system through to component level rather than a fulfilment source. Each company has considerable operating autonomy, enabling it to respond to the needs of its customers in a timely and flexible manner.
